The Aisling Centre
The Aisling Centre is a local charity providing counselling, psychotherapy and wellbeing services, and is dedicated to promoting positive mental health and well-being.
This Christmas we are fundraising for the Aisling Centre as mental health is a cause that is close to our hearts and we want to support the amazing work this charity does within the local community.
The Aisling Centre is on a mission to provide opportunities for hope, healing and growth in a welcoming and supportive environment. They are committed to offering all their services to the highest ethical and professional standards possible.
The Aisling Centre
The Aisling Centre offer counselling and psychotherapy support services for people going through difficult times in their lives, victims and survivors of traumatic events and children coping with loss. The charity also offer complementary therapies, mindfulness meditation, support groups, stress management, personal development and confidence building.
The charity was established in 1990 and is dedicated to the promotion of positive mental health and emotional well-being. Aisling is an Irish word meaning dream or vision; the charity’s dream is realised through the provision of a safe space where people can find hope and healing at difficult times in their lives.
The Aisling Centre offers its counselling and psychotherapy services to men and women aged 17+. These services offer a safe, non-judgemental space where individuals can speak about their lives and things which may be uncomfortable, confusing or painful confidentially. Speaking about concerns with a professional can aid in gaining clarity and making sense of thoughts and feelings.
The Aisling Centre offers play therapy through the Children Coping with Loss Programme.
This programme offers counselling through play therapy for children aged between 5 and 11 coping with loss as a result of bereavement, family breakdown or long-term illness.
