CASE STUDY
Renewable Energy Products Production Facility Development
AVRIO were appointed by an established waste management company wishing to innovate and expand their operations into the renewable energy products sector. AVRIO were asked to review possible renewable energy product business ventures suitable for the company and their facilities located throughout the Republic of Ireland.
AVRIO reviewed a number of potential renewable energy product markets suitable to the company and the facilities they operate, presented such proposals to the company and requirements to achieve the desired outcome for each.
After deciding on an appropriate market and business model suitable, the company then engaged AVRIO to undertake a feasibility study of the proposal. The feasibility study concluded the project was feasible, met the criteria expected and could proceed to further stages.
Further processes undertaken by AVRIO as part of the project involve:
- Technology Procurement & Cost-Benefit Analysis
- Technology Development
- Technology Validation
The project is currently at planning permission stages, where AVRIOs team have provided significant environmental input to the planning application process.
Upon approval, AVRIO will be overseeing the development of the renewable energy product facility to include:
- Application of technologies, feedstock and any additional equipment;
- Commissioning of the facility, technologies therein and processing operations.
AVRIO are an agreed ‘Partner’ within this project and upon completion will continue to manage, innovate and develop the facility and the company within the renewable energy product markets.
Upon completion, the facility will provide final renewable energy products to be used as a valuable carbon neutral energy source, generating energy throughout the private, commercial, and industrial sectors. The facility will utilise green energy supplies, heat recovery processes and water harvesting throughout its operations, and as such operate as a fully certified carbon neutral facility.
To date, the project is on schedule and within budget, and all parties involved are satisfied.
